Wood Auger Bits
Our wood auger bits are suitable for boring accurate, clean holes in both hard and softwood. They have precision ground Lewis spiral flutes for fast chip removal and straight tracking of the bit. The tip of the bit has a self cutting threaded point to guide the bit through the wood as the bit cuts. Each bit has a ground hex shank to enable a more positive chuck location and drive compared to a round shank. The bits are packaged in individual re-useable plastic tubes.
