Every blade Summit Saw Blades supplies is made to the same premium quality standard that has the following features :-

1. Extra hard, high quality tungsten carbide saw tips to give clean cutting, low wear long life performance.
   Each tooth is 2.75mm wide and 2.5mm deep which allows the blade to be resharpened to maximise blade life.



2. The body of the blade is made from hardened steel plate 1.75mm thick.
   The hardening and thickness of the plate stops the blade from warping to give more accurate cutting.
   Each plate has expansion slots cut into it to help keep the blade "true" when the plate heats up in use.



3. All technical and safety information is printed onto each blade to help ensure correct fitting and use.

Summit Saw Blades supply three types of blade by individual size, these being a medium, fine and extra fine wood cutting blade.

All the blades are suitable for cutting either along or across the grain of the wood.

The coarser the blade the quicker the blade will cut, the finer the blade the smoother the cut will be.

All our wood blades have an alternate top bevel (ATB) tooth formation.

In addition to this we supply blades suitable for cutting aluminium, plastic and composite materials for fitting to mitre saws, these blades have a triple chip (TC) tooth formation.

The blades for hand held circular saws have a positive rake for the teeth, the blades for the mitre saws have a negative or zero degree rake for the teeth.
